Most hunters arrive in Sofia, Varna or Bourgas via connecting flights from other major European airports. At the respective airport, a person from the hunting farm will be waiting for you, accompanied by an interpreter. From the airport expect about a three-hour transfer by car to the hunting farm Bukovets.

The car arrival depends on the location you are coming from. When you know your specific departure point, you can contact us and we will give you directions regarding the best route.

No visa is required for citizens of the USA, EU and many other countries for a tourist visit to Bulgaria. Hunters can bring their own firearms, but it is paramount to arrange all the details with your outsider. You must be able to provide all rifle and ammunition data, as well as a valid hunting license on your part.

At the end of your stay, you will receive an appraisal and payment protocol.

There is no specific requirement for hunting clothing in Bulgaria. At Bukovets Hunting Farm, we also have no special restrictions on clothing.
